Lifeboat shop hits an all time record

Exmouth lifeboat shop have hit an all time record, taking over £15,000 in August 2015. Shop volunteers are over the moon at their record-breaking takings, the best they have achieved ever. The weather may not have been kind in August, but the public have flocked to the shop.

The 40+ volunteers from the shop have been run off their feet in the month of August, they have recorded their busiest month ever. With a boost of people from the lifeboat station open day and the National Surf Lifesaving Championships taking place on the beach in front of the lifeboat station, stock has been flying off the shelves.

An excellent achievement from all the shop volunteers, and let’s hope September breaks this record!
