Operational Update

Due to planned maintenance on the ALB 13-03 R & J Welburn, access to view the names will be restricted on Tuesday and Wednesday, 14th and 15th April 2026

Training is scheduled for Wednesday evening, during which the lifeboat will be launched. However, as a planned inspection of the Shannon Launch and Recovery System is taking place on Thursday and Friday, the boat will not be recovered after training on Wednesday night.

Instead, the lifeboat will remain on the mooring from Thursday, April 16th 2026 until further notice

Our lifeboat station features a retail souvenir shop on the ground floor, with a viewing gallery upstairs offering stunning views over the beach and into the lifeboat hall.

Inside the shop, you’ll find a wide selection of gifts and souvenirs, including:

  • Pens and stationery
  • Buckets, spades, and fishing nets
  • T-shirts and polo shirts
  • Christmas cards and decorations
  • Ice creams and much more!

Our Exmouth RNLI Shop opens every day except Christmas Day.

We are occasionally forced to close due to extreme weather. All necessary closures or changes in opening hours will be notified on our RNLI Exmouth Fundraising and Shop Facebook pages.
