Our Shannon-class all-weather lifeboat, R and J Welburn (13-03), will launch for its scheduled training exercise at 18:00 on Wednesday. Following the exercise, the lifeboat will remain on the station’s wet mooring in the river and will not be recovered to the boathouse.

Due to limited crew availability and the need to maintain operational cover, the Shannon will remain on the wet mooring throughout the weekend.

Recovery to the boathouse will be on Monday July 13th at 11.30am
