Just before 14.30hrs, H.M. Coastguard requested the launch of our ILB in response to reports received from members of the public suggesting that windsurfers and kitesurfers were in difficulties south of Straight Point. The ILB was launched into challenging sea conditions.
Working in conjunction with the Coastguard, our crew conducted a thorough search of the area but found nobody in difficulty. Our crew were stood down by the Coastguard, satisfied that this was a false alarm with good intent
