While on exercise HM Coastguard diverted our ILB, George Bearman II, to reports of an inflatable kayak adrift in the river. 10 minutes later the ILB arrived on scene.
They proceeded to do a shoreline search along Exmouth beach as far as Belcher’s Slipway and then proceeded to search the shore off Dawlish Warren. With nothing found the crew returned to the station
