At 04:51hrs HM Coastguard requested the launch of our ILB, Gerorge Bearman II, to assist Police with the search for a missing person along Exmouth seafront. Nearly an hour later at 05:58hrs our ALB, R and J Welburn was taskewd to assist with the search.
Later joined by RNLI colleagues from Teignmouth and Torbay, the search continued until all lifeboats were stood down shortly after 1pm when the person was thankfully found safe and well on land.
