Monday 29 June 2026, at 20:04hrs, the pagers sounded once more for our volunteer crews to a tasking from HM Coastguard of two persons cut off by the tide at Rodney Bay.
The volunteer crew quickly launched our inshore lifeboat, George Bearman II, and made best speed to the reported location. The casualties were quickly located and taken onboard the lifeboat and returned safely to shore.
The lifeboat was stood down and returned to the lifeboat station where it was washed down, refuelled and made ready for the next shout.
