At 09.52hrs our ILB was tasked by H.M. Coastguard following a call from NCI Exmouth. Their watchkeepers had been observing a kitesurfer who appeared to be struggling in a heavy swell off the beach at Exmouth.
Our ILB was launched, reached the casualty and ensured that the kitesurfer was safe, under control and making progress. (Thanks to NCI Exmouth for their report.)
