Discover the Welly Trail Adventure

Embark on a fun-filled journey with the Welly Trail, where each step brings you closer to learning about the evolving nature of our Boats and their life-saving missions.

What is the Welly Trail?

As you stroll along the Welly Trail, you’ll not only enjoy the picturesque scenery, but also learn about our boats. As our All Weather Lifeboat, R and J Welburn, 13-03, will be the 7th in the Launch A Memory series, we thought the trail should focus on our boats and their evolution since 1803, which have saved countless lives at sea. This journey invites you to engage with interactive displays, where history comes alive through captivating tales and fascinating facts, making each step a delightful blend of adventure and education. With every painted Yellow Welly you discover, you’ll feel a deeper connection to the community spirit that drives the RNLI and its bravery, reminding us all of the importance of safety on the water and the inspiring legacy we share. Join us in celebrating this unique path that fosters both fun and awareness, creating memories that will last a lifetime.

We have strived to provide the most accurate information about our lifesaving boats. If you have any additional details or insights to share, we would love to hear from you. Please reach out to us on welly@exmouthlifeboat.org.uk
