Our Inshore lifeboat, George Bearman launched at 9.23am today (29 August) after a man was stranded on rocks near Sandy Bay at high tide. The man had been separated from his canoe and had sought refuge on rocks but was unable to swim ashore. An RNLI Lifeguard commencing duty recovered the canoe to the beach and our two crew volunteers collected the casualty and dropped him off on the beach.
