On Tuesday 15 October, we had a visit from Pauline Smith and her niece, Katy who’s over from Australia.

Pauline paid for our inshore lifeboat, named after her grandfather, George Bearman (1859-1898) who was lost at sea at Wells-next-the-sea in Norfolk.

George Bearman has been in service at Exmouth RNLI since 2006 and this year has already launched 54 times.

We were proud to show Pauline and Katy our station workhorse.
